Bisque firing is the result of the first firing of clay. After the pieces are obtained and left to dry completely, they are fired at a very high temperature. This process eliminates all moisture and transforms the clay into ceramic: a porous material with a texture ideal for absorbing pigments, colors, and glazes during the decoration phase.
